Gramin Jan Kalyan Sansthan setup stall at Kumbh Mela,Prayagraj for sell of Sattu, Incense Sticks, Candle, Diya etc. prepared by SHG

The auspicious Kumbh Mela held at Triveni Sangam, Prayagraj this year was unprecedented in many ways. It saw participation of 70 million people, equals to the population of United Kingdom. The management and hospitality of Paryagraj administration reached its zenith in this Mela.

Gramin Jan Kalyan Sansthan was invited by GoI to facilitate participation of SHG and to showcase their products. Following which, Gramin Jan Kalyan Sansthan sent team of 10 women to Kumbh Mela, Paryagraj. The product included Sattu, Incense Sticks, Candle, Diya etc. prepared by SHG. The demand of SHG products made us speechless, we ran out of stock within 2 days and we had to bring more stocks subsequent days. This encouraged woman to work with double enthusiasm.
