In the district of Ballia, the NGO GJKS (Gramin Jan Kalyan Sansthan) is tearing down those barriers.

Recognizing that talent is distributed equally but opportunity is not, GJKS launched an ambitious initiative: Free Computer Education for Rural Youth. Today, we are proud to announce a major milestone in this journey. We have successfully educated and certified over 500 youth across the villages of Ballia.

The Mission: Skills for Livelihood

The program was born out of a simple observation. While rural youth in Ballia possess immense potential and ambition, the lack of technical skills often excludes them from the modern job market.

GJKS set up community computer centers designed to be accessible to the most vulnerable sections of society.
